Axian (never Broderick) is a Muggleborn Unspeakable just out of training, and currently studying the properties of Good and Evil under the watchful eye of Edwina Espis, noted ex-con. He knows Star Trek backwards and forwards, is scared to death of his mother (as well he should be), and has been known to steal books from the Restricted Section of Hogwarts. Though he is technically Evil (due in part to the looming threat of mad science, and in part to general teen angst), Axian's motives are generally good, if sometimes not very well thought-out. He may be socially incompetent and not particularly confident, but Axian is extremely intelligent and also very skilled when it comes to Defense Against the Dark Arts. And yes, he knows the Unforgivables. Strangely enough, none of that keeps him from getting picked on for reading space porn. Axian has been best friends with fellow Ravenclaw Meghan McCormack since his third year and her first. His best friend at the Department of Mysteries is Luben Krum, and he hangs out with a couple of Muggles named Rex and Rujul. He is currently dating Men in Black agent Hadley Frizzle, who is almost as geeky as he is. (Oh, and that army of salt shakers with sporks that have been terrorizing the Ministry cafeteria and environs? Totally their fault. Oops.) |
